• Child-Centered Approach: We place the student’s well-being at the heart of all tutoring activities, ensuring they feel safe, heard, and respected. 

• Professional Conduct: We will always maintain appropriate professional boundaries and conduct sessions in a manner that promotes trust and safety. 

• Safe Learning Environment: Whether tutoring in person or online, we ensure the environment is secure, age-appropriate, and free from harm or risk.

• Parental Involvement: We encourage open communication with parents/guardians and welcome their presence or supervision during sessions, especially for younger students. 

• Confidentiality and Reporting: We will treat all student information with confidentiality. However, if there are concerns about a student’s safety or well-being, we will follow appropriate safeguarding procedures and report concerns to the relevant authorities. 

• Online Safety: For virtual sessions, we use secure platforms and ensure that both tutor and student are in appropriate settings. Sessions may be recorded with prior consent for safeguarding purposes. 

• Training and Awareness: We will stay informed about safeguarding best practices and, where applicable, undertake safeguarding training to ensure the team are equipped to recognise and respond to concerns. 

• DBS Checks: We will ensure that the tutor will have a valid DBS check in place prior to interacting with students.
